summary

F?rty-,seve;n patients with renal cys,ts were analysed. They had been treated surgically at the Department of Urology, Medioal Academy in Łódź in the years 1!974?1982. In 217 of them microscopic toernaturia was present. In 18 cases nephro-lith/iasis was associated with the cyst. In most cases (66,7) (the cause of haema-tuiria was mephrolithiasis associated with renal cyst, and in the remaining patients renal oolic was always found in the history. The aiutihors tihink that the most freąuent cause of microscopic haematuiria associated with nenal cyst is nephro-Mthiasis.
