summary

Transcutaneous nephrolitholąpaxy was performed in 181 patients. In 7 pa­tients (3.87°/o) there appeared serious and life-threatening complications: 3 bleedings, extraperitoneal extravasation of lavage liąuid, perforation of the descending colon, septic shock and cardiac arrest. The authors analysed the reasons for the compli­cations and possibilities of their avoiding.
