summary

The authors presented a very rare case of the abscess of the left psoas major muscle.
The defect was diagnosed after 21 years from the operation of pelveo-ureteralis junction
stricture.
The most common reasons which cause the abscess are the purulent inffections of the
abdominal cavity and the pelvis.
The most efficient techni±ues of diagnosing in these cases are the visual Computer
tomography and ultrasonography.
