summary
- A case of 8-year-old girl with succeeding (third and fourth) incident of gross hematuria is presented. The first bleeding ceased after the treatment against schistosomatosis, second - after antibacterial treatment. Radiologic and ultrasonographic tests suggested presence of bladder wall tumour, but it was not found during two cystoscopies (probably in consequence of a high pressure of irrigative fluid in the bladder). Finally, third cystoscopy revealed presence of hemangioma on the postero-left wall of the urinary bladder. Tumour was excised by cystotomy with a cuff of full-thickness bladder wall. Pathological examination: haemangioma cavernosum.
