summary

We report a case of simultaneous ipsilateral urothelial carcinoma of the renal pelvis and renal cell carcinoma. A 77-yr-old female presented with hematuria. She was diagnosed with left renal tumor. Subsequently, the patient was treated with left radical nephrectomy. A review of the literature is made and the pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapeutic aspects of this disease are discussed.
