summary

The paper presents three patients with urolithiasis and tumour of the kidney which was not diagnosed before performing of ESWL. Correct diagnosis was made at a check-up examination when second ultrasonography, urography and CT were made. The patients were then submitted to nephrectomy. In 2 patients the tumours were located in the lower pole of kidney, and in 1 patient in the upper pole, and their diameter did not exceede 3 cm. No regional or distant metastases were found. All 3 tumours were clear cell carcinomas.
