summary

The author\'s own experience in creation of the continent ileal reservoir in the manner proposed by Benchekroun is presented.
The formation and the function of the hydraulic valve providing continence to the reservoir is discussed in details. The schematic illustrations show the consecutive steps of the operation.
The results obtained by the authors encourage to recomend this type of urinary diversion.
