summary
-
- Eight men with benign prostate hyperplasia treated by means of transurethral laser
- coagulation are described. Laser Nd: YAG and optic fibre with lateral laser beam reflection were
- used. Good result was achieved in 6 men; no improvement was observed in one. Undesirable
- bladder wall fotocoagulation was caused in one man due to optic fibre break.
