Authors present the case of 18-years old girl, admitted to the Urology Department of Regional Specialist Hospital in Wrocław, because

of the left renal colic, caused by the tumor of ureter. Intraoperative, left middle ureter was very thick, hard and infiltrated, with the

tumor inside. Fatty tissue and peritoneum around the ureter were infiltrated, too. Left nephroureterectomy was done. Pathological

examination showed very rare, benign tumor – fibroepithelial polyp. Authors present epidemiology, etiology, clinical symptoms, diagnostic

tools and treatment methods of fibroepithelial tumors localized in the upper urinary tract.
