summary
- Authors present the case of 18-years old girl, admitted to the Urology Department of Regional Specialist Hospital in Wrocław, because
- of the left renal colic, caused by the tumor of ureter. Intraoperative, left middle ureter was very thick, hard and infiltrated, with the
- tumor inside. Fatty tissue and peritoneum around the ureter were infiltrated, too. Left nephroureterectomy was done. Pathological
- examination showed very rare, benign tumor – fibroepithelial polyp. Authors present epidemiology, etiology, clinical symptoms, diagnostic
- tools and treatment methods of fibroepithelial tumors localized in the upper urinary tract.
