urodynamic study leak point pressure urethral pressure measurement neurophysiological tests

summary

The paper presents technique of urodynamic studies. The most common technical problems are discussed and the way of their
avoiding
The second part includes: evaluation of urethral closing mechanism, the EMG, UPP, estimation of stress leak point pressure, neurophysiological
tests.
Conclusions: A good knowledge of anatomy and pathophysiology of lower urinary tract, basic principles of physics and biomechanics
of fluids causes less problems with interpretation of outcomes. Analysis of correctly performed study is more simple and easier.
