introduction
Foreskin is a part of penis which covered the glans. Foreskin is divided into two layers internal and external. During the antenatal period development of foreskin is strictly connected with formation of the urethra and after birth the role of foreskin is to protect glans of the penis. Very often physiological adhesion of the foreskin with glans of the penis is treated like a pathology, and most frequently disconnection between foreskin and glans is made.
aim
This is a short view of the new opinions about pathology and physiology of foreskin in children based of the literature.
conclusion
It seems that disconnection of foreskin from glans of the penis is to frequently made in Poland.
