summary

Stab wounds of the kidney occur very rarely in peacetime. Normal urography is not always an evidence of absence of renal injury. It is indispensable also to carry out arteriography for establishing the diagnosis and therapeutic rnana-gement. Early performing of this investigation prevents the development of later complications. The reported observatiori illustrates the necessity of fuli X=ray examination' and rapitd surgical intervention.
