summary

The purpose of the study was evaluation of the results obtained in the sur­gical treatment of effort incontinence of the urine in women by the method of Michon.
In the group of 28 women operated upon in this was the authors analysed the the duration of incontinence, the number of spontaneous labours, induced abor-tions and gynaecological operations. The techniąue of the operation is described in detail. Follow-up from 1 to 10 years demonstrated good effects in 92% of cases.
