supravesial diversion ? interstinall suturless anastomosis ? anastomosis ring (Valtrac).
summary
- We present our first experience with use of biofragmentable anastomosis ring
- BAR, Valtrac) for intestinal suturless anastomosis in 12 patients (6 W, 6 M
- 48-75 years old. The end-to-end smali bowel anastomosis was performed in 10, and
- colon in 2 patients (ileal conduit 5, ileal bladder 3, cystoileoplastic 2, sigmoid con-
- duit 1, colon anastomosis 1). Valtrac anastomosis was easy and short operations.
- Postoperatively, we did not observe any anastomosis leakage, paralytic, obstruc-
- tive ileus or stenosis at any of the patients. Use of the Valtrac shortens the time of
- operation, with is of importance at long urological surgery.
