summary

Introduction: The TURP is still regarded as the „golden standard\" in the treatment of BPH.We have no still consent as regards at choice the best parameter allowed precisclly assess results of the treatment.
Aim of the study: Estimate results of radical TURP on the basis analysis urodynamics parameters, especially give consideration to presure- flow studies.
Material and methods: 50 patients with BPH, with age 51 to 78 (mean 63.5 ± 6.7), average proslalc weight 40 g. Indication for the TUR were based on the history,IPSS score system, physical examination,DRE, TRUS and urody-namic investigation.Urodynamic investigation included analysis of voiding frequency chart, free uroflowmetry, pressure-flow study with calculation of the grade of urethral resistance and detrusor condition on the basis of Schafer nomogram.
Results: During the follow up, 36 months later,when the same investigations were performed there were statistical}\' significant reduction mean IPSS scores from 21.4 ± 3.2 to 5.1 ± 1.9 (relative change - 76.1%) daytime and nocturnal reduction voiding frequencies of 2.0 and 1.0, significant improvement Qmax from 6.9 ± 1.5 ml/s to 17.6 ± 1.7 ml/s (- 163.7 %),mean increase CyCapmax from 229 ml to 356 ml (+ 55.4 %),dccrcasc mean PdetQmij. from 85.0 ± 8.0 to 44.0 ± 6.0 cm H,0 (- 50.6 %),and significant decrease mean value of LinPURR from 4.0 ± 0.6 to 1.4 ± 0.5.TURP caused long term reduction bladder outlet obstruction,expressing in decrease urethral resistance by 2 or more Schafer\'s degreeses.
Conclusions: Radical transurethral resection of BPH patients leads lastlingly to withdrawing or considerable alleviate LUTS,improve urethral flow, dccrcase BOO and improve motoric action of bladder detrusor .
