summary

There was evaluated the haemodilution method applied in 93 patients undergoing surgery of the urogenital system. The objective of study was to apply a simple and safe method, which would allow to avoid the necessity of homologous blood transfusion in some patients, and to reduce the loss of own blood, prevent the occurence of embolic and thrombotic complications and the risk of infections (AIDS and hepatitis).
