Presented is a new surgical techniąue for creation a continent ileal bladder, based on detubularisation and total reconstruction. The method was elaborated by Professor F. Pagano in the Institute of Urology, University of Padua Medical School and it is named V.I.P. — Vescica Ileale Padovana.The results obtaining in the first patients group show absence of operative mortality and low rate of complications. The new ileal bladder ensure high capacity, low pressure, full nighttime and daytime continence and complete voiding by natural way
