summary

The authors report their experiences with freezing of rabbit kidneys. The experiments were carried out on the lower pales of kidneys in 15 rabbits. Changes in the connective tissue at the border of the necrotic focus began on the 8th day.
Early changes appeaired alrea-dy after 24 houis. The duration of healing and changes in the surrouinding tissue depended probatdy on the duration of cryoapplication. The shorter was that time, the earlier was healing.
