summary

The authors describe the aetiology, pathogenesis and treatment of priapism in the light of own two cases of spontaneous priapism. The first case was treated surgically supplementaing this treatment with administration of heparin and Sintrom. The other case was treated conservatively with heparin and ad'di-tionally streptokinase. The use of streptokinase in the second case had douibtlessly an effect on complete cure.
