Haemangioma of the bladder in a child

summary

The author describes a case of cavernous haemangioma of the bladder in a boy aged 8 years with coexistent haemangiomatosis of the skin of the left inferior extremity and hypogastrium. Arteriography suggested possible coexistence of haemangioma in the colon. In the light of a survey of the pertinent literaturę and this case the author discusses the aetiology, pathogenesis, manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of bladder haemangiomas.
