- The authors report a 42-year-old female patient with hydronephrosis in whom intrao-perative diagnosis showed presence of a congenital valve of the upper ureter. The affected part of the ureter with the valve was resected with end-to-end anastomosis of the ureter. Early postoperative result was good. The case is reported in view of its exceptional rarity.
